GDPR

As of 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (commonly referred to as "GDPR") comes into force. GDPR will apply to the same extent in all European Union countries, including Poland, and introduces a number of changes to the rules governing the processing of personal data.
What are personal data

Personal data, according to GDPR, is information about an identified or identifiable natural person. In the case of using our service, such data is, for example, an e-mail address, IP address, and in the case of sending a query - name and surname. Personal data may be saved in cookies or similar technologies (e.g. local storage) installed by us on our website and devices that you use when using our services.

Basis and purpose of processing

  • The processing of personal data requires a legal basis. GDPR provides for several types of such legal bases for data processing, and in the case of using our services, three of them will generally occur:

  • The necessity of processing to conclude or perform a contract to which you are a party. In our case, the contract is the regulations of a given service. Therefore, if we conclude a contract with you to perform a given service (e.g. a service providing you with the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our service based on the content of the regulations of this service), we may process your data to the extent necessary to perform this contract. Without this possibility, we would not be able to provide you with the service, and you would not be able to use it.

  • The necessity of processing for purposes resulting from legally justified interests pursued by the administrator or a third party. This basis for data processing applies to cases where their processing is justified due to our justified needs, which includes, among others, the need to ensure the security of the service, making statistical measurements, improving our services and adapting them to the needs and convenience of users (e.g. personalizing content in services) as well as conducting marketing and promotion of the administrator's own services.

  • Your voluntary consent. It is mainly needed when third parties provide you with marketing services and when we provide such services for third parties. In order to be able to show you advertisements that interest you (e.g. for a product that you may need), advertisers and their representatives must be able to process your data. Granting such consent is completely voluntary, and if you do not want to, you do not have to grant it. Thanks to our solution, you also have the option to limit the scope or change your consent at any time. Your other rights resulting from granting consent are described below.

  • Your data, as part of our services, will be processed only if we or another entity processing data has one of the legal bases permitted by the GDPR and only for the purpose adapted to the given basis, as described above. Your data will be processed until the basis for their processing exists - i.e. in the case of granting consent until its withdrawal, limitation or other actions on your part limiting this consent, in the case of the necessity of the data to perform the contract - for the duration of its performance, and in the case where the basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator - until such legitimate interest exists.

Data transfer

Your data will be processed by the Personal Data Administrator and Trusted Partners, to whom it will be transferred for analysis purposes. In each such case, the transfer of data does not entitle the recipient to use it at will, but only to use it for the purposes expressly indicated by us. Thanks to this, we can, for example, better select the most interesting or cheapest offers tailored to you. In each case, the transfer of data does not release the transferor from liability for its processing. Data may also be transferred to public authorities, provided that they are authorized to do so by applicable regulations and submit an appropriate request, but never otherwise.

Cookies

On our websites and applications, we use technologies such as cookies, local storage and similar to collect and process personal data and operational data in order to personalize the content and advertisements provided and to analyze traffic on our websites. Cookies are IT data saved in files and stored on your end device (i.e. your computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), which the browser sends to the server each time you access the website from this device, while you visit various websites on the Internet.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data and its processing by us and Trusted Partners.

If you have given your consent to the processing of data, you can withdraw it at any time.

You also have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification, deletion or restriction of processing, the right to transfer data, to object to the processing of data and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. The above rights also apply in the event of proper processing of data by the administrator.
